Further features

When a user creates an account on Further, they can access the publicly available content we’ve created. Content can be viewed if a user is logged in, but it can’t be sent to a pi-top. This can only be done once a user is logged in. That way, their work can be saved.

Regular Further users don’t have the additional capabilities of students or teachers.

The difference between a student user and a regular user is that students can be added to classes, teachers can see the student work, and students can have their passwords recovered by their teachers. A regular user becomes a student user simply by being added to a class by a teacher.

Teachers have all of the same capabilities of regular users and student users. They also have the ability to create classes, add student users, and to create and edit content.
